The 24-7Tent gathering at the prayer house in Golden was like launching off a diving board into a deep pool! You could really sense a new and exciting move of God coming up. With Golden as the historical territorial capital of Colorado, it is obvious that God is reconciling Golden as His territorial capitol. What God is doing in Golden is really sweet. We can anticipate that His Spirit of Unity will pour out of Golden into the front range. Exciting!
I've mentioned Art and Justice League (AJL) in the past and this spring you will be hearing about it a lot more! This journey is getting deeper and more involved as the 501c3 paper work is submitted to the IRS and we are into the details of planning and executing key pieces to the mission. We are already getting requests from people who want to give! Particularly a large grant that AJL is not yet able to process ...So we really need this IRS paper work to go through quickly! Will you please pray for this?!
This spring we will be piloting the first AJL program. Please pray for the details to come together on this. It tentatively looks like Anthony Lee (Founder) may be working with a group of Karen refugee kids, teaching them guitar and leading out times of creative expression. This is a really cool local connection since Anthony has been so involved with the Burmese Refugee Camps in Thailand. A key experience that has formed the foundations of AJL. We sense that God wants to create a bridge between His work with the Karen people in Denver and the camps in Thailand. Check out the short documentary Anthony made when visiting the refugee camps.
