The Count Down has begun as we're approaching the 24-7 Tent @ Heaven Fest! We are organizing 170 hours of worship and prayer at Resurrection Fellowship, a church that is across the street from the Heaven Fest grounds. They have been super helpful by not only hosting 170 hours in their prayer room but also providing whatever resources are needed to get things done. What a great heart and community! Will you join me in praying for them?
Also will you please pray for the Tent Team and all those who will be participating in 170 hours? We are busy organizing and contacting prayer houses, worship/prayer leaders, ministries, church groups AND the MASSES to come spend some time in the prayer room. The prayer room will be an interactive and creative space with stations for expression and dialogue with God and the Community - such as a prayer wall, art stations, communion, pictures, scriptures, prayer journal and many other stimulating pieces to help a person to enter into prayer with God and respond to His Father HEART! From 7-12pm nightly there will be live worship. There is a space below the prayer room to congregate, meet, and get more information about prayer houses and the movement on the front range! So as we count down to Friday July 23rd, please pray for favor in communicating, health, financial provision, perseverance and most of all that we would come together in LOVE - 1 Corinthians 13:4-7
On a more personal note I have been challenged lately to reach out and strengthen my Support Team. When I consider what this looks like the scenario's seem a bit uncomfortable, basically this kind of work is really challenging - no one likes rejection, right? God has been extremely faithful and miraculous, as He will continue to be, but at the end of the day I think He wants people to be invested and involved! As ministries grow more demands and barriers arise with Time, Finances, and Prayer - so in return my Support Team needs to be strengthened as well. This means I need to be pursuing referral meetings with people. In most cases this would be a friend/supporter who would refer a few contacts and/or help set up meetings with like-minded people. This person might be you? Would you please pray and consider partnering with me to set up referral meetings?
Over the past couple months God has laid these scriptures on my heart concerning this next step:
Matt 10:11-14
11 "When you enter a town or village, look for someone who is willing to welcome you. Stay at that person's house until you leave. 12 As you enter the home, greet those who live there. 13 If that home welcomes you, give it your blessing of peace. If it does not, don't bless it. 14 "Some people may not welcome you or listen to your words. If they don't, shake the dust off your feet when you leave that home or town."
Isaiah 54:2-3
2 "Make a large area for your tent. Spread out its curtains. Go ahead and make your tent wider. Make its ropes longer. Drive the stakes down deeper.3 You will spread out to the right and the left.
Please pray these scriptures over me! For Faith, Strength, Perseverance, and Boldness in the journey ahead.
