"Momentum" is the word that keeps popping into my head. The past month has been FULL of it. Particularly with the 24-7 Tent. This project is taking up a life of it's own - there is some serious GOD MOMENTUM going on! In the past two weeks the 24-7 Tent has seen people coming on board on all levels so that we can extend our reach! We have people who are helping to coordinate our events, develop our website, organize volunteers, and help with our social networking...It's simply awesome. It is great to see a worship and prayer movement come alive on the front range. It is an honor to be able to be in the trenches working and praying alongside such great people!
So along with this organizing effort, I've also been connecting with some AMAZING people in Golden, CO. In the past 6 months God has been highlighting the fruit of ministry leaders and pastors praying together in Golden. A good friend of mine who is a missions pastor in Golden works closely with another pastor who has been deemed the "Community Pastor" in Golden. The Golden Pastors have an amazing story of devotion in prayer to each other and God. Over the past 4-5 years God has birthed a collaborative of almost every pastor/church in Golden to pray together and serve together. Out of this the International House of Prayer Golden was started. Out of times of prayer for the Rocky Mountain Region I've been stirred to connect and support what God is doing there. So this March 11 - 12 (7pm-7pm) the 24-7 Tent will be organizing a 24 hour worship and prayer gathering with IHOP Golden - And what's even better is that during our times of prayer and organizing, God has provided a new prayer facility for Golden that is bigger and better! So we are going to open up this new house of prayer at the same time! Isn't that cool? Our heart is to connect as many people as we can to this house of prayer and support the movement in Golden by inviting everyone we know, telling the story, and encouraging the church in surrounding cities to rise up, bless this city, and participate in what God is doing! We want to see this prayer room filled with worship and prayer 24 hours a day, 7 days a week! What a privilege to be apart of this movement!
