What's Been Done And What's To Come

Hello Friends and Family!

I hope you had an excellent Christmas and New Years! Mine was spent in Texas and it was good. As you know I've been busy with the Ascent Conference for the past two months. We hosted it January 5-8th at the YMCA in Estes Park, and had a great turn out! And even better...God showed up and touched many people in significant ways! There will be more to come on this soon. So now I'm back trying to piece together all that has been accomplished in 2010 and what is to come in 2011. Can you believe it's been over a year? Now that 2010 has ended, it seems fitting that we look at what has been accomplished and find out what's to come!

Thank You for Being an Advocate!

This journey would be severally void without "YOU" - You are a huge blessing to me and an important facet of this mission. In walking this out I've found my faith strengthened, and my trust increased in God our provider. All my praise, thanksgiving, and faith is in Him! It has truely been a Joy to walk this out with you! Thank you for responding in obedience and in faith with me - as we pursue this mission together. Thank you for your prayers, your encouragement, and your giving.

Heaven Fest, Contending for God's Kingdom

Don't forget - Heaven Fest blew the Heavens open in 2010! We hosted 27,000 at Heaven Fest to pray, worship, and contend for God's Kingdom! We baptized 194 people , raised a HUGE chunk of money, ( $47,000 ) $24,000 went to the homeless, missionaries, and feeding the hungry. We dug 5 wells in Rajasthan, India and gave $23,000 to Love146, rescuing young girls from sex trafficking.

This year we can expect even bigger and better things from Heaven Fest. We are in the intitial planning stages for this summer and hope that we can facilitate a festival that sheds even greater power and revalation of God to people. Please continue to pray for Heaven Fest coming up, July 30, 2011! Hopefully you can join me at the festival!

24-7Tent, A Prayer and Worship Movement

We've made great strides in responding to God's call for communities of 24-7 Worship and Prayer. We launched a website to host this vision, we've organized prayer meetings with key leaders, we've organized 24 hour gatherings, and parternerd with key leaders on the Front Range to form the Ascent Conference, a Sacred Assembly of Prayer and Worship! It was a big year!

This year our hope is to complete a main peice of the vision in establishing a "Canopy of Prayer and Worship" over the Front Range. This year we aim to fill prayer and worship time slots via the Tent Online through prayer houses, church's, prayer teams, and worshipers all across the front range to create a canopy of prayer and worship, and organize a more unified 24-7 prayer and worship movement!

Produced a video of Uriel Luebcke

This was a fairly large video project for me. It was a great pleasure and alot of fun to work on! Uriel's Skate Ministry is AWESOME. The video premeired at www.ChristainSkaters.com and at the Skate Ministry fundraiser in November were we raised $16,000! Uriel is a missionary with Worship and the Word Movement (WWM) and a professional skate boarder. WWM recently secured a warehouse for Uriel to host Skate Church. You can find out more about the ministry and view this video at www.SkateMinistry.org or on my site at www.jpatrickkennedy.com/2009/08/skate-ministry.html

Hosting Anthony Lee's Vision, Founder of....

Over the years Anthony Lee has become a good friend. This past year I've been hosting Anthony and his project Art & Justice League at my office. For the most part this has been a project in development. It's been an idea birthed in Anthony for many years and 2010 was formidable in forming this dream into reality. It's been great to dream with Anthony and pray with him through the process. I'm excited as we put dreams into action this year!

Art and Justice League exists to facilitate healing and empowerment for children affected by poverty and social injustice through creative development (Art) and advocacy (Justice).

For years Anthony has played out some of his dreams at Youth With A Mission and now will take on a more focused role with the formation of this organization. So now in 2011, the paper work is done and things are in place. This year I will be working with Anthony to develop programming and a campaign to reach people with the mission of Art & Justice! www.ArtandJustice.org

As you know, though we make plans, God can sometimes lead us in odd directions. Since He knows best, it's best that we follow! Like it says in Proverbs 16:9 "The mind of man plans his way, But the LORD directs his steps." NASB - I'm sure you've found this word of wisdom to be true in your life. So will you please pray with me for this year, as I step into these plans, and follow the Lord's lead as He directs? Thank you for your prayers and encouragement!

Love,
Patrick
